So basically what The Getaway gives you of London, but for the rest of the world? And then the ability to play whatever games you want within that setting?

Fine for the height maps and terrain, but the architecture... well, I guess someone would have to try :)

Architecture? Have you not turned on the 'buildings' option and gone to New York?

Though I suspect it'll be a while before they have that sort of data for the whole world.. ;)
