.. and no I'm not talking about World of Warcraft for once, but George A Romero's Land of the Dead browser game. The things you can do with Shockwave these days!
It's a full on first person shooter, in a little browser window! Amazing.
My absolute and only criticism would be that due to graphic card constraints, or the one-size-fits-all requirements of browsers, the window is rather small (and the zombies are therefore fairly hard to see). Good for the old hand-eye coordination though, I'm sure, and of course even better for distribution.
Also, it has one of the nicest controls tutorials I've ever seen for the legions of casual players out there who don't like config files:

p.s. as with many casual games, it's actually really tough. Those casual gamers are hardcore, man.
