Xbox 360 will CRUSH the competition!
I mean, literally. Because it's bigger and heavier.

I suspect the basis of comparison was the width of the disk-tray. Scale each box so the width of the trays match, and there you have it. Funny to think that the Xbox 360's power-supply is probably bigger than the entire Revolution.

No idea about the one on the far right.
As for the PS3, (a) who knows what the final thing will look like, and (b) I saw the mock up they had at an event(was it E3? TGS? Forget) and it was bigger than portrayed here.
Are the ports USB? that would indicate that it should be scaled up some...
If you look at the controller button scale in this image:
http://www.pspworld.com/images/ps3.jpg
then I'd guess the button layout matches the PS2 controller, even if the handles are longer. THat would indicate a size of roughly 12 to 14 inches in height. That'd make it the same or slightly taller than the 360. But thinner.
Guess that arguement about length/width and which matters more applies to consoles as well (and not just sandwiches - get your mind out of the gutter!)

"Think this is a guesstimate, photoshopped together from packshots?" No shit! What an odd post.

This image seems to be a bit more accurate and compares against the size of current-gen consoles.

The link on the previous comment by teamonkey is accurate. If you go to Wikipedia you can see the dimensions for both the 360 and the PS3 and you will see that the 360 is about the same size and actually looks smaller because of the "inhale" look while the PS3 looks like a fatty with it's "exhale" look (because it is full of hot air from all of the boasting Sony is doing). Sony has a pretty good reputation of delivering much less than they promise. Add to that the $500+ price, the trouble they had launching the PS2 (like the current 360 launch)and the fact that Hideo Kojima (creator of Metal Gear Solid) says that the 360 can play MGS3 at the same level of the PS3 and you start to care a bit less about how big the consoles are.
