Oh this couldn't be any more perfect: Gibson, makers of rather fine guitars, are sponsoring a Guitar Hero air-off at the Donington Monsters of Rock Festival. Monsters of Rock, no less!
The festival will take place at Castle Donington from June 9th-11th, and Metallica, Tool and Guns & Roses are all set to headline.
Gibson is sponsoring the Third Stage, a big fat tent that will showcase new acts along with old favourites such as Killing Joke and Skindred. Guitar Hero fans will be able to take the stage and rock out in between band performances - if you fancy giving it a go, email guitarhero@bhpr.co.uk to reserve your place.
