The Boyz of E3 06
I'm freshly home from E3, and here it is, folks - the booth boy breakdown! If I weren't so darn jet-lagged I'd put them to poetry. They lucked out this year.
First up, young Peter in the Namco booth. Some guys would feel inhibited having a big plush Pac-Man eating their head, but not Peter. Props.
Brian for Brothers in Arms, ready for action. Ladies.
The eagle-eyed will note that we've seen this chap before. He was at Webzen this year. I had to stand well back to take his pic, cos he's about 13 feet tall. He also doesn't blink, ever.
Another Webzen dude. Off-the-peg armor, tsk. Nice axe though.
Well hel-loooo, Mr Tournament of Champions! Deal me in, you suave thing.
Strictly speaking, a podium boy. Very good too.
Fatal1ty, who it could be said is a bit more than a booth boy. But he's a boy, and he's in a booth, so he counts.
This is definitely cheating, but I can't not post Karis of Mutaytor, on stage in the NCsoft booth. Overheard: "Oh my GOD. Look at h.. uh.. is that a GUY?! Shit. OK, still hot."
And, last but by no means least, the King of the booth boyz this year:
Adam West! The original Batman, although you'd never know it from the show's signage. He was autographing for Family Guy.
So that's an iffy nine, but a strong seven. Not a giant improvement over last year, and still no firemen. Although, given there were no games involving firemen, this was probably a good thing.
The guy at the card table seems niiice. :-P

I just got to the pictures of him dancing with a hula hoop, that's where I know him from, he was in a scissor sisters video a while back.
