The O.C., a teen drama and perennial favourite with obsessive-compulsive (it actually stands for Orange County, but hey) young things, is coming to mobiles. Pocket Gamer has the whole story, and while the game itself is a development on Gameloft's New York Nights: Success In The City, it also sounds like a decent match and also quite a lot of fun:
Gameloft also promises that there'll be a host of mini-games, including talking, joking, criticising, kissing, drinking, dancing, offering items and punching ... There'll also be unlockable content in the form of new friends and locations.
(Heh, kissing is a mini-game? Well that explains a lot.)
Their enthusiastic mouthpiece continues with a bold claim:
"We think it's the first mobile game to combine the two wildly popular game genres of simulations and TV/film licensed properties," says Charles Revillon. "It's a rich Sims-style game, but with real O.C. locations, personalities and a plot-line that will resonate with the millions of O.C. fans throughout the world."
