Sounds a lot like a more focused "there.com" but devoid of the crap. I have t admit I spent more time tweaking my car in GT3 than I did racing :)

When I suffered the misguided notion I could write a computer game, I wanted to do a dynamic story-based game where the player could decide how long the game would last and it would tailor a complete story with a beginning, middle and end. Naturally, I never figured out how to actually do that...

Have you seen Puzzle Pirates? MMOpuzzleGame :-) extremely cool, addictive, community feel (teams, shops) and yet you can drop in and have a quick sword fight (puzzle) during work... http://www.puzzlepirates.com

Great game, utterly boring..

For most players its just the same four puzzles over and over again with no internal progression within them.

If you're not there for the social interaction, then it gets old really quickly (which is a shame as I really want to like it more than I do)

Sorry you're found it that way SharD. Between the shop games, drinking house games and pirating games there are quite a few different options; admittedly most are very like tetris/bejeweled variants, but a lot of us out there love that type of game! And being able to structure playing of that type of puzzle with a productive or competitve or team edge is very nice.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a great puzzle game fan (spent hours and hours at popcap's leasure).

I just got rather bored of just playing the same old sailing games again and again with little feeling of accomplishment..
