PixelKill Pete found this: an artist's rendering of famous movie locations using Unreal Tournament. I just LOVE this stuff, there's something really jawdropping about running around in a map or location that you know from real life (even if it's fake in the first place).
Reservoir Dogs - THAT chair!
When Wes came to London for the first time, he said he recognised significant parts of the city, sort of knew where he was going - from playing Metropolis Street Racer. I love this stuff.
Silence of the Lambs... more! I want more!
VERY cool.

I had that exact same MSR experience. I even remember looking at a stone staircase in St James's Park and thinking something along the lines of "That's steeper than it should be" ;-)

Here's another one by a different artist based on Blade Runner: http://www.fileplanet.com/118901/110000/fileinfo/DM-2019:--Blade-Runner-UT2K3-DM

Oh yeah, a place in italy called Fabrica made a quake 3 mod so you can walk around their buildings:

There are so many film scenes that would be awesome in game mods.
How about Battle Royale, run around the island with all the buildings, taking on the weapon random selection and plot from the film.
What about a replica Ghostbusters house, complete with those laser guns and traps.
:)

Yeah I remember that, although the traffic ruined the experience.
I ride BMX and I've found a similar thing with that. I get to ride skateparks in game that I've ridden in real life. The only downside is I'm a lot better in game, but on the plus side I'm less likely to injure myself :)
